Makati (AP) -- The Filcosplay Freelancers Xp remains undefeated this season, beating all comers handily including their sister team, the original Filcosplay Freelancers in a Day 2 Showdown. Furthermore, they have managed to go undefeated in the Philippine Cup and the newly-founded Ancestorian Cup so far.
Their play has been so exceptional at the beginning of the season that every single player on the roster has made it into the division MVP race including 6 of their 8 players being listed in the Top 10. "Team cohesion, active participation, and teamwork are the reasons why the team is doing so well this season," the team manager and player Kero Chan noted. "We laid the groundwork last season and this season we're poised achieve even greater milestones.
When asked whether he would keep his line-up, Kero Chan answered, "The team is very efficient as it is now and I don't see any major roster changes in the future. Recently, we traded Ariel Hoggsworthy for Pedro Penduko of the FC Classics and the results were beneficial for everyone involved. I think our core right now is very strong, and we have very effective role-players that can make a huge impact coming off the bench."
Not surprisingly, the Filcosplay Freelancers Xp is first in their division with a commanding 14-0 record followed by their sister club, Filcosplay Freelancers, who sports an impressive 13-1 record.
